Cwrs Bryn Dderw (Oak Hill Welsh Course) 2026, an annual Cymdeithas Madog week-long immersive residential course, featuring classes, music, dance, pub night and more.
The 2026 Cwrs will be held at the University of Rio Grande / Rio Grande Community College in Rio Grande, Ohio with the Madog Centre of Welsh Studies.

...an anthology of poems about Wales’ rivers. Several of the poets will join us at the presentation including Mair Ifans, clare e potter, Catrin Mari, Adele Evershed and Meg Elis, plus Ness Owen and Sian Northey, Editors.
Between 1908 and 1913, Madame Hannah Hughes-Thomas led the world-famous Royal Welsh Ladies’ Choir, of which she was the second director, on several tours of the United States and Canada. Dr. Bill Jones will discuss the choir’s North American tours during Madame Hughes-Thomas tenure and her life after she settled in Detroit in 1915.
