Meredith Miller is an American author - a fiction writer, editor, and literary critic who lives in mid-Wales, speaks fluent Welsh, and owns a Welsh Chapel!
She has published four novels and numerous short stories, and was shortlisted for the Rhys Davies prize in 2022. Sarah Hunter, writing in Booklist, described Meredith’s work as “lyrical, character-driven fiction with a gray edge.” Publisher's Weekly has written that her “vivid, haunting writing is filled with prose gems.'
Meredith has also published a scholarly monograph and dozens of scholarly articles.
And she owns a Welsh chapel, which she is renovating and planning to develop as a center for Welsh-language literature and culture.
